Feldenkrais: Awareness Through Movement Class!
What is Feldenkrais?
Through movement sequences there can be a greater mind-body connection that enhances our capacity to move with ease. The use of movement patterns, visualization, and imagery has been found to decrease tension and facilitate movements.
Be proactive and learn how to decrease the risk of injuries. At the end of the class you will increase awareness of habits that can cause stiffness and pain, and learn to focus on areas other than painful sites.
Feldenkrais will be taught by Kimberly Holt, PT, GCFT, who is a physical therapist with 18 years of experiences and has been a Feldenkrais teacher for 9 years. She has a background in dance with training in ballet, belly dance, salsa, and afro-Brazilian. As a movement specialist, Kimberly's vision is to empower others to a new level of awareness, health, and wellness.
Time and starting date is TBA. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions!

The physical therapy profession provides solid background knowledge on the anatomy and biomechanics of the body. We can develop a plan to promote healthy habits and decrease the risk of injuries. Studies show that a rehabilitation program customized for a patient results in 85
% resolution of symptoms versus less than 50% when medication alone or a general treatment approach is used.
Our goal is to restore health by improving balance, coordination and strength. Exercises with alternative techniques will assist in reaching the goal of restored health.
